Checkers – a free game for Nokia 5800 and N97
Moubail.com is happy to announce Checkers – a widget based game for Nokia 5800 XpressMusic and Nokia N97. Inspired by Dr Jukka’s collection of widgets I decided to try and make my own. I chose to port a game of Checkers for Nokia Touch phones. A simple but pretty game – built with nothing but HTML, CSS and Javascript. The original game code (the AI) can be found here and it was made by Kurt Grigg (info in the game falsely states Jaap Scherphuis – will be corrected in the next version). I am releasing this hoping to inspire others to try and make their own widgets and hopefully release them through moubail.com.

The game supports both Portrait and Horizontal modes and works pretty well. Information about the original code is found in the game. If there will be any updates to the game a new version will be published right here at moubail.com.

INSTALLING
Just transfer the game over to your phone by bluetooth or usb cable or as an email attachment. You can also install it by using your phones browser to download the game.

Youre so cool! I dont suppose Ive read anything like this before. So nice to find somebody with some original thoughts on this subject. realy thank you for starting this up. this website is something that is needed on the web, someone with a little originality. useful job for bringing something new to the internet!
