Minor update for iSearch – version 1.1
I’ve just updated the iSearch to version 1.1 adding a setting for Auto-close. This allows you to choose if the widget should close automatically when you launch a search – might be handy if you don’t want to leave the widget running in the background. I also made changes in the application icon and re-sized the N97 homescreen button.
I’ve received some requests for changing some of the services to point to desktop versions of the sites – I’m open to suggestions as to what the correct sites might be. Also keep suggesting new search targets – I would be happy to include them in the next version.

A nice feature would be to have an update feature that automatically checks if you have a new version out!!!!
it would be very useful to have a setting possibility to customize the buttons.
for instance to use wikipedia.de instead of wikipedia.en (same wit google country sites) and to replace with search engines you prefere more.
but please let me thank you for this very useful widget – I donated to support your activites.

please do the following changes in the future version of isearch
1.in the applications main screen , in the middle of isearch logo and “type here” add one more button called customise or settings. when user click on it he should be able add his own list of websites by giving the link himself…..u can make to maximum of 50 websites….
2.add flick/kinetic scrolling to application. bcoz millions of nokia 5800 consumers are dying for kinetic scrolling in this mobile…there is an application called gravity ,in that app kinetics scrolling is there so people even if they dont like the app they just open and do flick scrolling up and down…..so if u add it in this isearch it will be too great…
3.if possible just try to do this: instead of opening the page in default nokia browser try to make it in such a way that the webpage opens inside the isearch below the title of isearchlogo and “type her”
please try to implement at least the first 2 features.

The apps good, but needs to reflect the system colour, rather than being any colour as long as it’s white. I’ve got an N97 black and am using the dark pre-installed theme, which I think works well with the N97 black, so the white widget doesn’t look good for me. Would love it if this could be updated, even if you had colour options dark or light.
