DeviceInfo Widget updated to version 2.0 – new features!
I have just updated the DeviceInfo Widget to version 2.0. The new version brings graphical display for storage space, RAM and battery status. Other features include displaying
- IMEI code
- WLAN Mac Address
- Phone model
- Firmware version
- Manufacturer
- Product type
- Bluetooth status
- Vibration status
- Autolock status
- Autolock timeout
- Screensaver timeout
This is excellent work, thanks very much. As the battery meter section of the app displays percentage why not produce a widget just to replace the terrible Nokia battery indicator – I’m sure people would pay for such a utility?
The whole upper section of the S60 UI needs some serious work – not just the battery indicator. I would like to add a homescreen support for the the DeviceInfo widget as well but as I don’t have the N97 I can’t really work on it – but you would be surprised how few people are willing to pay or even donate for anything

why i dont see the application after i install in my 5800??but oni found it using search application…

Sure you can install it on the N82 but I’m not quite sure if the API of the N82 supports the features of the widget. But if you try it please let me know if it works.

the application is great however the information provided is all basic and can already be found on nokia 5800 device update. the colour theme you have used is all blue would be great if you use colour theme feature next time (i have red nokia 5800). also add more deeper information about mobile phones.
tried this on my n86 8mp but it will not work, showed (system service. object cannot be found)
Great application. The only thing that would make the app perfect would be the ability to make it stop asking you if you want to allow it to access user data. Can you do an “Always allow” option? I’ve seen it in other programs.
