Nokia 5800 XpressMusic gets a release date for UK – January 23rd!
January 23rd (Friday) will be a happy day for those waiting for the Nokia 5800 XM. At 10 o’clock in the morning it will be exclusively available at the Nokia Regent Street store and the Nokia Shop at Heathrow Terminal 5. Starting from January 30th (also Friday) it will be more widely available as Vodafone, Orange, 02, T-Mobile UK, Carphone Warehouse, Virgin mobile and Phones 4U start selling it with Comes With Music service.
Nokia will charge £249 for an unlocked and SIM-free phone but that doesn’t include the Comes with Music subscription. You can also pre-order your phone here but note that you may not get yours until February.
That £249 equals to around 277€ – that might mean price drops also in the countries the phone has already been released – for instance the retail price for Nokia 5800 XpressMusic in Finland is around 340-350€.
